Solubility In water 4 (pH 4.2), 20 (pH 5), 425 (pH 7) (all in mg/l, 20℃), 100-200 g/l (pH 9, 20℃). Readily soluble in dimethylformamide. Soluble in alcohols and acetone. Slightly soluble in benzene, toluene and diethyl ether. In dichloromethane 50-100, isopropanol 20-50 (both in g/l, 20℃). Readily soluble in alkalis with the formation of salts.
